Turkey plans to fly between Ankara and Baghdad


Turkish Ambassador to Iraq Fatih Yildiz said he would lead efforts to conduct flights between the capitals of Ankara and Baghdad.

Yildiz said in a statement to social networking platforms “Twitter” that he conducted a survey in which most participants expressed their desire to fly from Baghdad to Ankara and vice versa.

“We will meet with Turkish Airlines and the Iraqi authorities to make this possible,” he said.

Turkish Airlines operates flights from Istanbul to Baghdad and vice versa.
