Finance of Kurdistan: 65% of oil revenues are allocated to the salaries of employees of the region


The Minister of Finance of the Kurdistan Region Rbaz Helan allocated 65% of the oil revenues of the region to the salaries of the staff of the region, while noting that his ministry receives about 378 billion dinars of oil revenues.

The Ministry of Finance receives about 378 billion dinars per month of oil resources, of which 65% is allocated to salaries of employees of the region and the rest as receivables to operating companies and loans and transport expenses.

It allocates 83% of all intraregional and oil imports and the amounts sent by the federal government to the region to pay salaries. Also allocates 5% to the heads of departments and institutions and 8% to services such as medicines, electricity fees, food allocations, maintenance, deliveries, communications and cleaning. .
