Daico Holding Company gets license for tourist resort project in Basra

The Ministry of Oil announced that the Investment Authority has granted the license of the project of Muftiya tourist resort in the province of Basra to the company “Daico International Holding” at a cost of 234 million dollars.

“The oil products distribution company, the projects company, the pipeline company and the supporting bodies have started to create the appropriate ground for the project by lifting thousands of tons of rubble and transporting oil installations from Muftiyah to other parts of the province,” the ministry said in a statement.

“For more than a year, the ministry has made strenuous efforts to transform the site of the Mufti of oil in the province of Basra into a recreation site and a tourist guide for this province, which suffers from a severe shortage of services and infrastructure,” Oil Minister Jabbar al-Allaibi said.
