Ahmed Al-Wakil, Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, revealed on Saturday the upcoming meeting to be organized next week for Egyptian companies that will participate in the reconstruction process in Iraq to coordinate the sectors in which the work will take place.
Media sources quoted the agent as a forthcoming meeting will be organized next week for Egyptian companies involved in the file of the reconstruction of Iraq.
He added that the objectives of the meeting is to coordinate between companies on the sectors to be worked in Iraq, and resolve the issue of participation in Iraq’s projects and how to benefit from the huge financial allocations to this file.
The international commitments to Iraq nearly 30 billion dollars so far, with expectations of increasing this figure in the coming period, with reports that confirm that Iraq needs 88 billion dollars for the reconstruction file.
The 86 Egyptian companies participated in the Conference on the reconstruction of Iraq, which was held in Kuwait in mid-February.
