Norwegian company DNO received Thursday $ 62.46 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
The company explained in a statement that this is in exchange for the delivery of crude oil last December to the export market with the supply license from the field “Tawke”.
The company will, according to the statement, share that amount with its partner, Jinil Energy Limited.
DNO said it holds 75% of the Tawke license, including the Tauki and Peshkabir oilfields. The two combined fields produce 109.903 thousand barrels per day.
In mid-February, DNO received $ 54.73 million from the regional government from previous shipments in November.
