The Iraqi bourse closed on Monday for the second day in a row, rising 0.43% at 643.61.
The number of shares traded during today’s meeting, 3,300 billion shares worth KD 1,977 billion.
Chemical and plastic shares rose by 10.00%, Canadian shares rose 9.88%, and metal and bicycle shares rose 9.82%. Engineering stocks fell 9.68%, United Bank shares fell 4.55% and Middle East Bank was down 3.45%.
The number of shares purchased by non-Iraqi investors 200 million shares worth 234 million dinars through the implementation of 77 transactions on the shares of six companies.
The number of shares sold by non-Iraqi investors (23) million shares valued at (76) million dinars through the implementation of (62) deal on the shares of four companies.
