Seven ships loaded with wheat and rice arrived at the port of Umm Qasr


The General Company for grain trade in the Ministry of Commerce, the arrival of five ships loaded with imported wheat and two rice to the port of Umm Qasr to support the ration card.
A statement by the ministry quoted Naim al-Makusi, director general of the company, as saying that “five ships laden with wheat and two others loaded with rice arrived at the port of Umm Qasr.”
He added that “cadres working in the branch of Umm Qasr, implemented the plan, which was developed by the departments of import and marketing by securing the arrival of vessels and distribution according to the plan approved and with the participation of the fleet of the central transport department and the transport department and workshop and the chocks where the implementation of the distribution plan according to the axes, Public Administration”.
He pointed out that the process of strengthening the assets of all sites are going according to the approved plan, where the company seeks to take advantage of the time in order to expedite the delivery of these quantities of sites and branches in order to support the ration card.
He pointed out that “the ministry continues to import contracts and additional quantities to secure sufficient funds to meet the needs of the ration card.”
