The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Mahdi Al-Alaq said on Sunday that the government is ready to open the doors of investment in Iraq.
Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Mahdi Mohsen Al-Alaq met with the director of Shell Andrew Brown in the presence of Dutch Chargé d’Affaires Mariel Khairat and a representative of the British Embassy.
“The government is ready to open the doors of investment in Iraq after the conference to reconstruct Iraq in Kuwait,” he said, adding that “a package of facilities for the work of investors will be announced soon.”
For his part, the director of Shell Andrew congratulated the Iraqi government on the final victory over the organization of the preacher terrorist, reviewing the achievements of the company in Iraq, expressing great desire to expand investment.
