EU: We are Iraq’s key partners on the reconstruction of cities

The European Union (EU) announced on Friday that it will take part in the upcoming Kuwait International Conference on the Reconstruction of Iraq (ICI) next week.

“The European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stilianides will chair a meeting on February 12 focusing on the priorities of humanitarian assistance and protection in Iraq and the key links towards early recovery and assistance in the medium term,” the statement said.
