Ministry of Transport: 620 aircraft pass daily through Iraqi airspace


Transport Minister Kazem al-Hamami said that the Iraqi airspace passes through it every day about 620 aircraft.
“The Baghdad International Airport has witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of flights during the first month of this year,” Hamami said in a press statement, noting that “the number of flights reached about 120 flights a day between coming and leaving.”
He added that “after upgrading the work of the ministry’s joints as a whole, especially air transport, Baghdad International Airport witnessed an increase in the number of flights arriving and leaving,” adding that “the airport seeks to provide all its technical and human resources in order to provide the best services to the various airlines operating at the airport to reflect this On the reality of the rate of daily flights significantly. ”
He pointed out that “the Iraqi airspace passes through daily about 620 aircraft, and will witness the coming days an increase in the number of flights coming and leaving and passing by the atmosphere.”
