GENEL ENERGY, whose business is concentrated in Iraqi Kurdistan, said on Thursday that net production for the full year fell about 34 percent as its main oil field, Taq Taq, fell. According to Reuters.
Net production averaged 35,000 barrels per day in 2017 compared with 53,300 barrels per day in 2016, according to Jinl.
Genel is one of the few foreign oil companies operating in Iraq’s Kurdistan. The company said net production of 2018 from the Tawke and Teeq fields is expected to be close to the fourth quarter of 2017.
