The Association of Iraqi Private Banks and the Union of Arab Banks are discussing the development of bilateral relations

The President of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks Wadih Al-Handal discussed with the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Banks Wissam Fattouh the development of bilateral relations.
The Association of Iraqi Private Banks said in a press statement that “the President of the Association, Wadih Al-Handal, received the delegation of the Arab Banking Union under the chairmanship of the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Banks Wissam Fattouh and discussed bilateral relations and development in the next phase in line with the challenges facing the Arab region, That “it was agreed on the joint work between the Association of Private Banks and the Union of Arab Banks to establish training courses for the banking sector inside and outside Iraq to develop human capabilities.”
The statement quoted the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Banks, Wissam Fattouh, as saying that “it is necessary to increase joint cooperation between the Union of Arab Banks and the Central Bank and the Association of Private Banks in the field of training and awareness of employees in the banking sector of Iraq,” noting that “Iraqi banks are classified at the highest levels of ownership structure And the world should start cooperation with the Iraqi banking sector. ”
He pointed out that “the Arab Banking Union will participate in the extension of Iraq’s international regional bridges through intensified contacts with the international community.”
On the other hand, said the President of the Association of Iraqi private banks, Wadih al-Handal, that “it was agreed with the Union of Arab banks on the development of human cadres to develop the Iraqi banking sector,” noting that “during the meeting discussed the challenges facing banking in the Arab region.”
