A parliamentary source confirmed on Monday that the parliament voted on a parliamentary decision submitted by the energy, financial and legal committees obliging the Ministry of Oil to stop the work of Car company in the fields of Kirkuk.
The source said that the House of Representatives voted on a parliamentary resolution submitted by the energy, financial and legal committees obliging the Ministry of Oil to stop the work of Car company in the fields of Kirkuk and to instruct the North Oil Company to produce and marketing, “noting that” the oil is exported through the company (Sumo).
He added that “an investigation committee will be formed of energy, integrity and financial committees to investigate the quantities of oil exported, provided that the central bank know the amount of funds deposited as a result of oil export and provide a detailed report on the names of persons and banks in which funds were deposited.”
