Iranian Trade Attaché in Iraq, Nasser Behzad, announced that his country will hold a trade-industry exhibition in Baghdad from February 12 to 15.
Behzad said in a press statement that “this exhibition will be held by the Iranian private sector with a license from the Iranian Trade Development Organization and in cooperation with the Iranian Embassy in Iraq, at the headquarters of international exhibitions in Baghdad.”
“The exhibition is being held to showcase Iran’s commercial and industrial potential and is expected to involve 100 industrial, commercial and engineering companies on an area of 1,000 square meters to define and market its products and services,” he added.
“The exhibition provides the possibility for Iranian companies to participate more accurately in the new investment fields in Iraq,” Behzad said.
“The participation in the exhibition will be in the framework of three projects, namely, [Probeild Iran] for the construction industry and [Profud Iran] for the food industry and the third project is for other industrial groups which include the automotive, water, electricity, technical and engineering services, plastic, medical equipment, printing, .
“The conditions in the Iraqi market are now suitable to engage in various industrial and commercial activities in the construction and reconstruction phase after the end of the war on terrorism,” he said.
