Iran has reopened an important border crossing with Irbil


The Iranian consulate in Arbil announced on Tuesday that the border crossing at Bakhamak in Mariwan had been reopened with Kurdistan for travel and trade purposes.
“The Iranian consulate in the city of Erbil explained that traders and passengers on both sides can benefit from this 24-hour international border crossing for travel and economic exchanges,” the Iranian news agency Mehr reported.
“Iraqi nationals with visas to Iran can travel through the Khosravi border crossing at Qasr Shirin, as well as the Pashmak crossing.
