Iraq will supply Egypt with 12 million barrels of oil in 2018


The Iraqi ambassador in Egypt, Habib al-Sadr, on Monday, the direct processing of 12 million barrels of oil to Egypt during the next year 2018, while noting that the oil pipeline between Iraq and Jordan will make Egypt a center for the export of energy.
“Iraq signed a memorandum of understanding with Egypt on the supply of 12 million barrels per year to Egypt. Egypt has received all shipments during the current year,” Sadr said in an interview with the Russian news agency Sputnik.
“It will soon be ready to equip Egypt with the same quantities next year, as well as extending a pipeline of oil from Iraq through Jordan and ending in Egypt, making Egypt a center for exporting energy in the region,” he said.
