The British Ambassador to Iraq, John Wilks, announced that the Arab Gulf States are ready to support the Iraqi private sector in the coming period.
Wilks said in his speech at the Financial Services and Investment Conference that “the Prime Minister Haider Abadi during his meeting with the British Prime Minister in Baghdad asked to support Iraq through the entry of British investors to Iraq and work to develop.
He added that “many donor countries and the Gulf countries have a desire to help Iraq and support the private sector in the next phase in the reconstruction of the affected areas.”
He pointed out that “moving the Iraqi economy is through the establishment of small and medium enterprises.”
