Iraqi Ports Company is preparing to establish an export and import terminal for oil products in Khor Al-Zubair


The Iraqi Ports Company with a Dutch company, on Thursday, laid the foundation stone for the export and import of oil products in Khor al-Zubayr.
The Director of Media of the General Company for Iraqi Ports, Anmar Al-Safi, said that “the Director General of Iraqi Ports, Riyad Swadi Shamkhi and the Managing Director of the Dutch company Finol, laid the foundation stone for the establishment of the export and import of liquid petroleum products (BLPT) and furnishing it with a pumping system, .
He added that “the matter was in accordance with a joint operation contract between the two sides of an area of ​​420 m depth and 600 m interface in the area of ​​Khor al-Zubair,” stressing that “the company started the work of cleaning from the remnants of war to make the region safe to start the early stages of work.”
