Iraq and Kuwait reached an agreement on the pricing of the gas unit


Kuwait’s oil ministry said Saturday it had reached an agreement with Iraq on the pricing of the exported gas unit from the country’s southern fields.
“The Kuwaiti side agreed with the Iraqi officials on the pricing of the gas unit,” Kuwaiti Oil, Electricity and Water Minister Essam al-Marzouq said. “What has been said about the unit price is incorrect.” According to the Kuwaiti newspaper “Al Rai”.
“We are waiting for Iraqi officials to review the terms of the agreement in preparation for announcing the date of signing,” adding that “will be announced unit pricing agreed upon as soon as Iraqi officials agreed to the agreement.
