The Minister of Oil announces the inauguration of the “Chinese” oil refinery in the province of Salah al-Din


The Minister of Oil announced the opening and inauguration of the Chinese refinery in the province of Salah al-Din with a capacity of 20,000 barrels per day.
This came in a cable sent by the Minister of Oil to the Prime Minister Dr. Haidar Abadi.
Al-Luaibi said that the national cadres in the North Refineries Company and the backing companies of the national companies were able in a record time and with the possibilities available to reconstruct this refinery, which was destroyed by the terrorist gangs during the period of its control over some of the cities of the province and damaged its facilities.
He added that this refinery will provide good quantities of oil derivatives to cover the needs of the province, whether for the use of citizens or to operate power stations, as well as the provision of security and stability comes as part of the Ministry’s plans to rehabilitate facilities and refineries that have been vandalized and destroyed by terrorist gangs.
