The National Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) confirmed on Thursday that there are efforts to repair an oil pipeline that runs through Turkey through Mosul in three months.
“Iraq is committed to the OPEC oil agreement and will abide by any future agreement,” Alaa al-Yasiri said in an interview with a number of media outlets. “We will open cooperation with all countries in this field.”
“We have a discussion with the Kurdistan region for the export of Iraqi oil through Ceyhan pipe region, because it is an Iraqi pipeline,” stressing that “there is an agreement with Turkey in this regard.”
“We will repair our pipeline to Turkey through Mosul, and we hope it will be done within three months,” Yasiri said.
