The General Company for Transport of Passengers and Delegations, one of the Ministry of Transport formations, reopened the Baghdad-Mosul line after a three-year interruption to transport citizens through its distinctive buses.
The Director General of the Company, Eng. Abdullah Loibi, said that in line with the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Kazem Fangan Al-Hamami, the need to open the line and provide transportation service for the mobile people between Baghdad and Mosul. He pointed out that a number of buses were allocated back and forth from Baghdad to Nineveh province at nominal prices and modern buses .
For his part, the director of the garage of the northern Karkh, Mr. Abbas Yassin: The first bus started yesterday from the garage of the northern Karkh (Alawi) towards the province of Nineveh humpback, amid the large turnout of citizens and joy of the return of official transport to their areas.
