The Saudi Export Development Authority (SDSA) has reinforced the presence of Saudi companies, industries and services within Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at the current 44th Baghdad International Exhibition, enabling them to communicate with Iraqi companies, investors and businessmen as well as their products, services and facilities.
The companies and the industrial and service sectors of Saudi Arabia to hold several deals in principle, and conducted a lot of negotiations for investment within the territory of Iraq.
The Director General of Marketing and Corporate Communication and spokesman of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Engineer Mazen Al-Jasser, said that many Saudi companies participating in the international fair with its first days held many initial deals and conducted many negotiations to invest inside Iraqi territory.
He explained that in the presence of many competing products with the most expensive prices and the lowest quality, but that the Saudi products have received a great desire by the Iraqi street due to their high quality and reasonable price.
Al Jasser said that the Authority seeks through this participation to discover the market opportunities of Saudi products in Iraq as a promising market and facilitate export procedures to Iraq in cooperation with the relevant authorities. Where the participation in the Baghdad International Fair this year, under the slogan “industries beyond borders and the proximity of peoples,” one of the most important contributions that will contribute to building economic trade relations between Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq.
