Turkish Minister of Trade and Customs Bulent Tufenkegi announced on Thursday an official agreement with Baghdad to open another border crossing linking Iraq and Turkey.
“We have agreed with the central government in Baghdad to open another border crossing between the two countries,” the official Anatolia news agency quoted him as saying.
“We have noted the desire of the Iraqi side in this regard, and after taking the necessary steps can open the crossing of Uva Kui.”
