Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister Hamid Reza announced on Tuesday the launch of a project to export 10 million cubic meters of gas per day to Iraq.
“Given Iraq’s need for natural gas to consume power plants, the project to export gas to Baghdad has been launched and 10 million cubic meters of Iranian gas is being exported to Iraq,” he said in an interview published by the Tasnim news agency.
“The project to export gas to Basra through the implementation of the transport line is ready for launch, so that 7 billion Tuman has been invested to launch it,” he said.
