A specialized delegation was sent to Mosul Airport to speed up its construction


The Ministry of Transport announced on Thursday that it had sent a specialized technical delegation to Mosul airport for its reconstruction and rehabilitation following terrorist attacks.
A ministry statement said that “the administrative agent of the Ministry of Transport, Ahmed Karim Ayoub, discussed with the governor of Nineveh, Nofal Sultan, the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Mosul airport after being subjected to terrorist operations by ISIS.
“The ministry has a great interest in getting the airport back because it is one of the most important and effective airports in the passenger traffic,” Ayoub said.
He added that it will be on Friday to send a specialized delegation of Iraqi civil aviation to Mosul airport to stand in the field of the nature of the needs of the airport and the most important of the basic works.
