Gazprom Naft, the oil arm of Russian gas giant Gazprom, announced on Wednesday that it has begun pilot production of LPG from the Badra Iraqi field.
The news agency quoted the company as saying that it has started experimental production of liquefied petroleum gas from the field of Badra in Iraq.
Full commercial operations are expected to start at the gas plant in the fourth quarter, it said.
The complex will be able to process 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas annually.
