Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili discussed on Tuesday with Jordan’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Yawar al-Qudhad, increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, stressing the need to rehabilitate the border crossings, including the port of Trebil border.

He added that “the two sides stressed that the rehabilitation and development and opening of the border port will be reflected positively on the economic situation in Iraq in general and areas of Anbar province, in particular through the operation of labor and move the wheel of the economy,
Explaining that “the two ministers discussed the possibility of establishing areas and squares for commercial exchange between the two countries to facilitate the process of transporting goods and the speed of arrival.”
He pointed out that “the relationship with the Kingdom of Jordan carries many strengths, because of the great common factors between the two countries.”
